The closure of small gaps
If the tooth and its root are damaged, a dental implant with crown is the best solution as a permanent replacement. This is especially true when the adjacent teeth are caries-free and healthy tooth structure needs to be sacrificed by grinding for the inclusion of a bridge. With an implant we can achieve a result that in the look and function is the closest to the natural tooth.
Insertion of the “new tooth”:
1. Before the procedure
After a thorough investigation, we create as preparation for the procedure, a three-dimensional X-ray (digital Volumentomogramm = DVT) of the area. The X-ray data are read into a special software that can help the future implant position to be accurately planned in advance.
2. The insertion of the implant
The implant is navigated using the X-ray data and used the millimeter with a special template. At the same time, a temporary tooth can be placed, which can be loaded normally a few days after surgery. The implant must heal for several months in the jaw bone until the next treatment step is performed.
3. The placement of the new permanent crown
After taking the impression the insertion of permanent crown is taking place. There is then no further treatment required.
4. The final result
You can assume that the new tooth fits perfectly to your teeth and like a natural tooth can be loaded. With good oral hygiene teeth and gums will be kept healthy and vital.
