Fixed replacement of missing areas

Before the advent of dental implants (about 40 years ago) there were no fixed solution for edentulous patients. Today it is possible to have a completely toothless jaw being provided with dental implants and a fixed bridge and thus to achieve a permanent, stable and aesthetically sophisticated solution.

The treatment procedure
The procedure for the treatment and the number of sessions depends largely on the body and the structure of the jaw. Individual sections up to toothless jaws can be provided with an implant bridge.

1. Before the procedure
Following a detailed diagnosis, we determine which treatment steps are required. With the help of modern computer software, the surgery can be simulated accurately in advance.

2. The insertion of the implants
Dental implants are used to replace the roots of missing teeth. In this case, we use five implants in the lower jaw. You will be provided with a provisional bridge until the permanent bridge is being placed.

3. The insertion of the bridge
The final bridge is anchored to the implants. At a supply for fully edentulous jaws usually three to five appointments are necessary, until the bridge can be used.

3. The final result
For you and for others, it should hardly be possible to distinguish the new teeth from your natural teeth.
