Regular maintenance and inspection

One of the most important tasks for us it is to recognize early and prevent diseases in the mouth.

In addition to external effects diseases of the gums (periodontal disease), caused by plaque and inflammation, may have a serious impact on your general health.

Regular individual prophylaxis can thus minimize or even avoid potential future costs – for example caused by a periodontal disease, tooth decay or by the loss of teeth.

Depending on the condition of your teeth, your gums, tooth-supporting structures or restrictions due to possible genetic preloadings 2-4 professional dental cleanings per year are suffivient to keep your teeth healthy in the long term.
Specially trained prevention care assistants in our office will arrange your individual appointment intervals with you.

Your teeth are getting an intensive manual cleaning from plaque and tartar. They are getting through areas that for yourself are often very difficult or even impopssible to reach and which can eventually lead to tooth decay or painful inflammation. After thoroughly cleaning your teeth are finely polished and fluoridated.

The treatment itself is not until a little painful – depending on the regularity of cleaning. For larger meetings or sensitive teeth, there is the possibility of a mild but very effective topical anesthesia, without having to inject.
