Alternatives to a crown on an implant

Fixed bridge on natural teeth
This conventional bridge which is anchored to neighboring teeth is a stable solution with good aesthetics and function.
However, this alternative has two major disadvantages:
1. it comes to bone resorption in the edentulous area and
2. the healthy tooth structure the bridge is anchored to is being damaged.

Adhesive bridge
In contrary, this alternative has significant advantages: it is fast to use, has a good function and provides due to the ceramic structure an aesthetically pleasing result. Moreover, natural healthy teeth are not affected.
This type of care is then an alternative to an implant, if it is not enough space available in the anterior region for placing an implant.
